Why Ariel Academies?
Ariel’s drama academies have been providing excellent, affordable theatrical training for young people since 2004. A family business, we have grown steadily from one small drama class into six highly respected drama academies, situated throughout Sussex.
We teach across all 3 disciplines [Drama, Singing & Dance] and stage an annual showcase for each academy. In addition, we offer extra classes in Contemporary Dance, LAMDA exams and 1:1 vocal tuition. Along with the academies, we also run junior and senior choirs, regularly stage and perform plays and musicals.
We have worked hard to maintain our ethos of providing inclusive, high quality training in all areas of Performing Arts whether your child dreams of a career in the Arts or would simply like to meet new friends, have fun and learn skills for life.
Why Are We Different?
‘I cannot speak too highly of Ariel as a company and its teaching staff. I am a mother of four and a teacher myself and know how precious time is, but it amazes me the amount of time and energy all the staff put in’.
We think it is our dedicated tutors and staff who really make the difference. Ariel is unique in that we combine industry experts, professional teachers and current young specialists in acting, dance and singing. It is this blend of experience and fresh vitality which produces academies which are stringently run but challenge students, allowing them to flourish in a creative environment.
Developed over the years, this formula has proved to be a resounding success and Ariel now teaches over 700 students, aged 4 -19 across its drama academies, including nearly 100 Othellos students with special educational needs.
